Bodies are complex - and symptoms are too! A thorough approach requires time and attentive listening.
Remember that bodies speak quietly first before they send more intense symptoms, so typically a body has been dysfunctional for quite a while before action is taken. We often need to tackle months or years of compensations the body has been making in addition to the initial issue.

Great question! Unfortunately there is no clear answer.
In my experience, collaboration is the key to timely, positive outcomes. I will provide an individualized home program so you can work on controlling your symptoms in between sessions. Clients who are consistent with doing their part, definitely get the best results.
I have experience treating a broad range of muscle and joint symptoms. I frequently work on the back, neck, jaw, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles.
I do not have specialized skills or equipment for treating complex hand or sports related injuries ie. ligament repairs.
My areas of special interest include lymphedema, lipidema and cancer rehabilitation, especially breast cancer and head and neck cancer.
And my deepest passion is utilizing CranioSacral Therapy (CST) to support nervous system regulation. If you've experienced trauma in your personal life or in your career, CST can be a game changer.
Best outcomes occur when CST is combined with efforts to improve the key components of wellness: Sleep, activity, breathing pattern, hydration, nutrition and socialization.
For 14 years I worked as a Physiotherapist in Thailand, India, Nepal, Africa, Oman and Columbia. I didn't have sophisticated equipment. I needed to adapt so I learned how to be attentive with my listening and observational skills. This enabled me to accurately identify "Issues in the Tissues" which I would then work through with manual techniques and exercise. Over the course of three decades, my hands have become very well tuned devices that I trust more than anything else.
If you are seeking IMS, shockwave therapy, ultrasound or electrical stimulation, please contact another Physiotherapy clinic. Thank you.
